What is Photorejuvenation?
At Clinique M, photorejuvenation is performed using Elite IQ technology, a system of non-ablative medical lasers (Alexandrite 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1064 nm).
These lasers precisely target pigmentation spots, diffuse redness and textural irregularities. At the same time, they stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin, helping to improve firmness, tighten pores and even out skin tone.
The result: brighter, smoother, visibly younger-looking skin, without surgery or recovery.

Alexandrite and Nd-YAG lasers: Elite IQ combines these two types of lasers to treat different skin problems on a variety of skin types. To maximize the results of laser technologies, we will recommend an appropriate facial treatment to prepare the skin to receive the maximum benefits from your laser sessions.
Anti-inflammaging care
We'll start by targeting the skin inflammation that often causes skin irregularities. The best comparison would be to see this step as the proper functioning of your intestines. Duration and number of sessions
Each session lasts around 60 minutes. Several sessions (usually 3 to 5) are often required to achieve the best results. Photorejuvenation is a gradual process, so improvements appear with each session.

Recovery: After the session, slight redness or swelling may appear, but these disappear within a few hours to a few days. Small scabs may appear. We recommend avoiding direct exposure to the sun for a few days, applying sun protection and avoiding physical training for 72 hours.

Photorejuvenation with Elite IQ is a non-invasive treatment to improve skin texture and appearance. It targets imperfections such as pigment spots, redness, fine lines and sun damage, while stimulating collagen production for a more even, rejuvenated complexion.

Photorejuvenation is generally well tolerated. Patients often describe the sensation as a slight sting.
Results may vary according to skin condition and treatment goals. In general, 3 to 5 sessions spaced a few weeks apart are recommended for optimal results. A progressive improvement in skin texture and tone is visible after each session.
After treatment, slight redness, swelling or warmth of the skin may be observed, but these disappear within a few hours to a few days. Small brown spots may darken temporarily before lightening. These effects are minor and disappear rapidly.
After treatment, it is important to follow these recommendations:
- Avoid direct sunlight for at least a week.
- Use a sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your skin.
- Moisturize your skin and avoid irritating products.
- Avoid strenuous physical activity for 48 to 72 hours to minimize irritation.
Photorejuvenation treatment does not require significant downtime. Most patients are able to resume their daily activities immediately after the session, although they must observe the recommendations concerning sun exposure and skin care.
